Whom are we looking for?

We are looking for motivated and skilled Service Technicians with a technical education and a relevant trade certificate. Experience is an advantage, but we also encourage recent graduates to apply. If you are the right kind of person and interested in learning and developing, we would love to hear from you. You should have an interest in service, commissioning, and modernization of technical systems for secure power supply, and be comfortable working with cross-disciplinary challenges.

 

What will you do with us?

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for commissioning new installations, modernizing existing installations, and carrying out service and maintenance on our backup power, DRUPS, and BESS systems. This includes following up with customers and suppliers. You will be our frontline ambassador and ensure that our customers receive the best possible service. Your main responsibilities will be related to backup power solutions.

 

We are looking for someone who has:

• A technical education from a technical college or within engineering.
• Experience or interest in the service and maintenance of technical systems. Recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Good system understanding and technical insight.
• The ability to work independently, accurately, and thoroughly.
• Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
• A valid driver’s license, class B.
• A clean criminal record and the ability to obtain security clearance.

 

Please note: As we are looking to fill three positions, the differences between them are as follows:

One Service Technician position will focus on mechanical issues, and the background and experience for this role should be more in line with an automotive mechanic, industrial mechanic, or similar profession.

The other two positions will have a stronger focus on electrical work and are aimed at applicants with a background in electrical trades, such as a licensed electrician. One of these positions will primarily be based at a facility in Skien during the first years.

Location:

You will be based in Jessheim and have a varied workday from there. For one of the electrical positions, the main workplace will be in Skien, and housing costs will be covered by the company. The role includes service assignments throughout Norway, so applicants must be willing to travel when needed.
