BoP Solution Manager - Energy Storage Systems (ESS), Sweden

BOS Power is expanding its Energy Storage business across the Nordics. To strengthen our ability to deliver competitive and high-quality turnkey BESS solutions, we are hiring a BoP Solution Manager with a Nordic focus for our office in Stockholm, Sweden.

The role focuses on defining, scoping and estimating Balance of Plant (BoP) elements for utility-scale energy storage projects. You help ensure that civil works and related BoP elements are correctly defined from the earliest project phase, supporting both sales and project execution. Your work ensures that our proposals are precise, competitive and executable. The position is based in Stockholm with the possibility of hybrid work.

Team Environment

As part of the Solution Management team, you play an important role in supporting our sales organisation by developing and optimising Balance of Plant solutions for customer projects. You help ensure that civil works are defined correctly from the beginning and that our EPC projects start with a solid, well-prepared foundation.

The role acts as a gatekeeper for BoP elements, securing consistency, quality and clarity in the early project phases. You will have strong support from colleagues across engineering, procurement and sales, but remain responsible for ensuring that BoP solutions are robust, feasible and aligned with customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and define complete BoP (Balance of Plant) solutions for grid-scale BESS projects.

• Scope and estimate civil works, foundations, trenching, MV/HV grid connection, cabling, SCADA and auxiliary systems.

• Prepare cost models, Bills of Quantities and documentation for proposals.

• Review customer tender documents, site layouts and grid requirements.

• Build and maintain internal cost libraries and BoP standards.

• Coordinate with Nordic subcontractors for site-specific cost inputs.

• Work closely with Solution Managers, Sales Managers, Engineering and Procurement.

• Participate in site visits and customer meetings when needed.

• Support risk assessments and contingency considerations.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost estimation, tendering or engineering for EPC, BoP, construction or electrical infrastructure projects.

• Strong competence in civil works such as foundations, trenching, site preparation and construction methods.

• Basic understanding of MV/HV electrical infrastructure is an advantage.

• Familiarity with Nordic installation standards is an advantage.

• Ability to translate technical scopes into structured cost models.

• Proficiency in Excel-based cost modelling.

• Analytical, structured and detail-oriented.

• Fluent in English; Swedish or another Nordic language is an advantage.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or similar is preferred.

• Master’s degrees are welcomed but not required if supported by strong civil engineering competence.
